**GOLD** is designed to be used as a stable coin for things such as exchange, lending, borrowing etc. These tokens may be converted into LP which may be farmed in the farm for a high apr. 

The protocol's algorithm aims to maintain GOLD's peg of 1:1 GOLD:FTM in the long run.

### **“What will happen when circulating supply = Total supply? Will emissions stop?”**

Yes. Once the max supply of $SGOLD is reached, emissions stop. $SGOLD will always print $GOLD in the Boardroom, though, as long as $GOLD is above peg.
